This hotel is a great value for the money. It's very near to a metro station with easy access to several lines running through the center of Seoul. The rooms on the upper floors have good facilities that are well-maintained and include a hot tub. The location is ideal for traveling to other places, with lots of street food options and convenience stores nearby.
All was okay.

Excelent location of the hotel makes it perfect as a base for exploring Seuol on foot. Actually, you can walk to all major attractions of the Seul downtown, including the Seul tower and the royal palace. It's also very close to the main train station (2 metro stops). I guess that the main attraction of the hotel are individually designed rooms, whose interior sometaimes is very unusulal (in a postive sense). In my room there was, e.g., a bathtube in the room, so I could watch TV (52inch plasma) laying in the bubbles :-)
If you are very sensitive about your security, you may be initially scared by the location of the hotel in some shade backstreet. Don't be :-) This is just the typical look of Asian side streets. Actually, I felt safier there than in many European big cities... and Koreans are a very friendly and helpful nation.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of the city. The location was ideal, being very near to a metro station with multiple lines running through it, making it easy to travel to other places. The staff was very attentive and provided great service throughout my stay. The room, with its window opening to the fresh chill autumn air, had all the basic amenities I needed. I especially enjoyed having a balcony where I could relax and take in the surroundings. The breakfast provided was also very satisfying, offering a good variety of options.
All in all, everything was just fine.

Location : Easy access via two subway which is near by..2 Mins walk. Airport bus stop is near subway. Take Airport bus 6002, stop at Jongno 3 ga, walk opposite to Macdonalds and walk in the alley and you are able to find Hotel Pop. This hotel is also nearby to the popular tourist location Insadong, about 5 mins walk and you will be able to reach there. Restaurant/Food outlet : Lots of food outlets along the street from restaurants to cafe to fast food to street food. Convenience store are along the street too. Design of Hotel : Very unique and nice to suit your preference. Different theming/design. Hotel Facilities : Nice brew coffee and popcorn at lobby for free. Minibar in the room is also FOC. May consider breakfast in future
This is a love motel so aspect to see couples walking in and out of the hotel. Some may be drunk. Secondly, this hotel is located along the alley which can be a bit dark to walk but safe, not easy to find if you don't find out where and there are pubs along the alley so will bound to see some drunken people walking around. To me, I'm fine with the situation but maybe not so suitable for family with kids.

Very good location, 3-5mins walk to subway station and at the intersection of 3 subway lines. 1 subway stop from Gwanghwamun (leading to Gyeongbokgung Palace), 2 subway stops from shopping haven Dongdaemun, 4 stops from cosmetics / skin care haven Myeongdong. Insadong is 2 streets away. Location is simply brilliant. The hotel is actually a love motel and surrounded by more love motels, but area is pretty clean and there is a police station nearby as well for peace of mind. My gf and I returned to the hotel past 1am for several nights, no problems. Free wifi, big bathtub comfortable for 2 regular-to-small sized person (open concept, no hiding!). Also a shower cubicle available. Contrary to previous comments, there is a horizontal bar with plenty of metal hangers for us to hang our clothes. Room is decently sized, good enough for the 2 of us. Water pressure, hot water, cable TV were all good and working. Overall, nice room!
There is no safe in the room for those who are worried. However, my gf and i left our luggage opened and unlocked and nothing unpleasant happened. Open concept bathtub could pose an embarrassing moment for non-couples. However, you could utilise it as a luggage storage space. There were 2 in-room PCs, but Windows in Korean language and cables and wires were fixed so we couldn't rearrange to create more space. Only 1 lift in the hotel and quite a small lift, but functional.

The bathtub in our room was a great feature, allowing us to watch the huge TV while enjoying a relaxing bath. Additionally, the floor heating provided a cozy atmosphere, and the window added a touch of freshness to the room. The hotel's location near the metro and local food stalls was convenient. The staff was friendly and even provided us with free umbrellas when it rained. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Was hard to find, even the taxi driver had problem locating it. No breakfast for the price. Bad english speaking staff.

The location is great and the staff are friendly. Plus, they offer free drinks in the lobby and in, room mini, bar, which is a nice touch.
The cleanliness of the room was not up to par. Despite requesting a re, cleaning, the room was still not clean enough and we had to clean it ourselves.

hotel is good for liesure stay and not for business travellers.
room is crammed for space, no storage facility and jacuzzi in the middle of the room eats up all the spare space and gives a congested feel to the room.

The hotel location is very convenient to move around the city and can get food almost 24hours a day. Jongno 3 metro station is 5mins walking from hotel. Also, it takes 10mins to walk to Insadong.
The alley leading to the hotel in the night but it still feel safe though. It's just that there are many drunkards in the night around the area talking loudly and some quite rowdy.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious with a great balcony that had an adjustable awning for rainy weather. It was close to the metro station, with easy access to a lot of attractions in this city. We found a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, thanks to its central location. The tub in the room was amazing that kept our toddler occupied for hours. The staff was courteous and always helpful. Additionally, we enjoyed access to free coffee, unlimited drinks, and coffee in the lobby.
Couldn't fault.

Taking taxi to major shopping areas were a breeeze and cheap. Hotel Location was just a mere 3mins walk to Jongno 3-ga station, very convenient, though the hotel is situated in "love" hotels area, but its quite brightly lit n safe even during at night. Rooms were very clean, the bed were hard but was my choice of bed. Free drinks in your mini-bar, cokes, water, iced tea and a free coffee making machine in the lobby.
Front desk can't speak much english.

Our room, though standard, was delightful, modern and spotless with all the latest facilities (including two computers). The location is as they say, an easy 5 minute walk from Jongno 3 gam station. We highly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the Autumn.
